Pre-Easter Festivities!

Palm Sunday

Spring Dance Show

The girls were so excited about their dance concert...not just b/c I think they were excited to perform and were close to be done with the "dance season" :) but also because there were lots of people who came out for the day to watch and celebrate them. Almost all of Rob's family was able to come for the day--we were just missing chad and the boys. It was so fun! Karys group was first up, followed by Gracie's...they each performed two dances! We were a little late getting there but the girls were not phased by it, they just jumped right in and were ready to go!Karys waiting to performHer partner for the first dance, and close friend, AmayaGracie's group was close behind waiting in the wingsKarys and Amaya LOVED the part where they had to bump bums...they would laugh and giggle every time!Gracie is always very serious and attentive when she takes the floorShe was having a hard time with the half up hair though this time...she kept having to sweep it out of her face, touch it, etc....But all in all she hit all her moves, so cute how you can see on her face when she remembers to smile ;)Gracie and her good friend from school, EmmaHeather was there to greet the girls with flowers! They felt so SPECIAL!She is always so thoughtful and coming up with ways to celebrate them!We were so proud of them for their hard work and just going out and having a good time!LOVE THIS!Auntie Shay was there to celebrate too! Even taught Karys how to tie her shoes earlier that afternoon :)Grandma Doreen and Papa Brent came out for the afternoon as well Uncle Seth and Karys were smelling the flowers to see if they smelled good or not and stopped for a picture t/gThen it was Daddy's turn for a wipf...once the show was over the girls gave us a little side show where they busted out some of their signature dance moves..."Look at how high I can kick!"
"I can hold my foot and turn and twirl"Gracie with her high kick as well...
What a GREAT afternoon!!! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support and to love on our little ladies!

Some Fun Preggo Pics...30 weeks

Everyone always says with each baby you take fewer and fewer pictures...unfortunately with this pregnancy this has been true. I went from taking a picture every two weeks from about 12 weeks on, to maybe getting my first pictures around 24 weeks and taking them every month if that. However, I guess it is the ones you do have ;) And I do laugh and smile when I look at them! Hopefully I will take more when the baby actually comes!Rob is always just snapping away when I ask him to take pictures for me--whether I am ready or not...Some of them turn out cute--on accident ;)Others, like this one where I just wanted to take my sweater off quick...not so cute...I end up enjoying looking at them though--makes me smile at my husband and some of his actions that I can sometimes see coming miles away!I have wondered throughout this pregnancy if Addyson really understands how different her little world will be when our little bundle arrives...but she really seems to get it to a certain extent. She loves to touch my belly and say "baby?" She thinks the baby is a boy if you ask her and yet I wonder if she can feel those little kicks against her when I am rocking her to sleep :) I remember thinking that when I was pregnant with Karys and Gracie was a baby...What a blessing to have two babies be so close to my heart at once and be able to hold, rock and carry them both...What secrets was she telling our baby that I will never know? What secrets will they tell each other in the years to come?
I have never had a brother...I am so excited for my girls to know that relationship...just hope they don't ruin it by dressing him in pink and putting tutus on him when he is little ;)
